Enjoy!<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n If you want to buy the Japanese version<\/span> of his book “The Beauty of Kinbaku” please click on this link<\/a><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Last night at Gallery Shinjukuza, members of the kinbaku and artistic community in Tokyo came out in force to celebrate the Japanese publication of Master “K’s” Social History of Kinbaku.<\/span><\/p>\n The exhibit, titled Kinbaku: Form and Emotion was enjoyed by more than 70 people ranging from some of the most famous rope masters in Japan to members of the press, authors, essayists and publishers, as well as well known photographers and artists, famous both in the SM and mainstream art worlds.<\/span><\/p>\n Master K thanked everyone present, telling the assembled group that without the people in the room that night there would have been no book and no history to write!<\/span><\/p>\n Arisue Go offered a toast to Master K<\/strong> *and the room was treated to live<\/span> Akira Naka, Norio Sugiura, Kyodo Miyabi, Kazami Ranki, Nawashi Kanna, Kanno Kei, and many other professional rope artists well known in the West came to the exhibit. Hajime Sorayama presented Master K with an original print of his work. Urado Hiroshi, the legendary bakushi from the 1970s Nikkatsu films and one of the key figures in getting the book translated and published in Japan, also attended.<\/span><\/p>\n Events continue today with a talk by Master K at Kinokuniya in Shinjuku at 3:00.
